Hey, what the hell. "Everybody's doing it" was never a reason for me. It's more that I needed a place to post pictures. How lame is that? But I also wanted to be able to spew once in a while. I mostly like to spew pessimistic diatribes about the way of the world these days.

Another Dante quote: "The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who in times of great moral crisis, maintain their neutrality." So I won't. But please don't jump to the conclusion that what I think of as a "great moral crisis" is the same as you do. I won't pin my beliefs down except to say I'm probably leaning toward a militant agnostic - I don't know and you don't either. But that's religion. I'm not religious. I'm spiritual. I saw this on a t-shirt and I think it pretty much sums it up for me: "Religion is for people afraid of going to hell. Spirituality is for people who have already been there."
